Weil Shortlisted for Private Equity Team of the Year and Top Deal Awards at 2022 IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards
Weil has been shortlisted for top honors at the 2022 IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards, highlighting the Firm’s expertise and accomplishments advising “transactions that broke new ground and set new legal high-water marks in the region.”
Weil was recognized as a finalist for “Private Equity Team of the Year” and shortlisted for “Private Equity Deal of the Year” for two landmark transactions, including the US$2.2 billion (including debt) take-private of Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed CAR Inc. by MBK Partners and the US$4.76 billion take-private of China Biologic Products Holdings.
International Financial Law Review shortlisted the firms and transactions for the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards based on extensive research, consisting of submissions, client endorsements and interviews with attorneys industrywide. The award winners will be announced on March 17, 2022.
