Weil Advises Infracapital on the Fundraise of Infracapital Greenfield Partners II

Weil has advised Infracapital on its fundraising for Infracapital Greenfield Partners II (IGP II), which has now held a final closing on total commitment of €1.5 billion, exceeding its target size.

IGP II invests in the later-stage development, construction and expansion of infrastructure projects and companies across a variety of sectors in Europe. The fund has an innovative long-term structure with an in-built liquidity mechanism which allows it to appeal both to investors seeking mid-term capital gains-focused returns and to investors seeking longer-term returns across the lifecycle of its target assets and platforms.

Infracapital is a leading European infrastructure investment firm which has raised and managed more than £6.5 billion of client capital across six funds.

The Weil team was led by Private Funds partner James Sargent with support from the Co-Head of Weil’s Global Private Funds Group, Ed Gander, partner James Bromley and associate Peter Schaffer. The team also included partners Marc Schubert and Aron Joy, and counsel Marloes Zaman and Daniella Abel.
