Weil Advises Advent International on its Acquisition of a Majority Stake in GS Pharmaceutical Packing
Weil represented Advent International in connection with its acquisition of a majority ownership interest in Shanxi Guangsheng Medicinal Capsule Co., Ltd (“GS Capsule”), the largest domestic capsule provider in China, from Meihua Holdings Group and co-investors. The transaction closed on December 15, 2021.
GS Capsule is a leading manufacturer of various types of capsules for pharmaceutical and healthcare product companies across China and internationally.
The Weil team was led by China Private Equity and M&A partner Charles Ching, and included counsel Yujing Liu and associate Yang Mo.
