Weil Wins Top Private Equity Honors at 2021 IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards
Weil has been recognized with two awards at the 2021 International Financial Law Review Asia-Pacific Awards, highlighting the cutting-edge achievements of the Private Equity practice and the expertise of its attorneys.
Weil was recognized for its work on the $8.7 billion going-private merger of 58.com Inc., which was named “Private Equity Deal of the Year.” Weil advised Mr. Jinbo Yao, the Chairman of the Board and CEO of 58.com Inc., on the landmark transaction.
In addition, Private Equity counsel Kenny Yu was named a “Rising Star of the Year,” an honor given to just three attorneys from leading international law firms.
The IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards recognize the year’s most innovative and accomplished deals, legal teams and attorneys in the Asia-Pacific region.
