Weil is advising Providence Equity Partners in the sale of World Endurance Holdings, Inc. (IRONMAN brand) to China’s Dalian Wanda Group.
Based in Tampa, Florida, the IRONMAN brand consists of a series of racing events and is the largest participation sports platform in the world. Dalian Wanda Group is one of the largest property, cinema and media companies in China. With an increased demand for racing events in China, the company hopes to attract millions of the country’s sports enthusiasts by offering top international competition.
