International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Volkmar Bruckner will join the Firm as a partner in the Munich office. Mr. Bruckner joins Weil from the Munich office of Latham & Watkins LLP and specializes in private equity and M&A transactions. He has significant experience in representing German and international clients in complex cross-border buy-outs, carve-outs and joint ventures.
At Weil, Mr. Bruckner will concentrate on large leveraged buy-outs as well as on mid-cap funds and special situations funds. Another focus of his work will be the further expansion of the business with corporate clients.
