Weil advised EQT Partners and its portfolio company Sivantos, a leader in audiology technology, in Sivantos’ strategic partnership with Clearwater Clinical Limited, manufacturer of SHOEBOX Audiometry, a highly accurate, mobile diagnostic solution used to increase early detection of hearing-related conditions. Clearwater Clinical’s management will continue to run the business, which will remain in operation as SHOEBOX Inc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Weil team that advised EQT Partners and Sivantos was led by Private Equity partner Christopher Machera and included Private Equity associates Timothy Burns, Joshua Whitford, Julian Zhong and Larissa Lucas.
