Private Funds Partner James Bromley has been named by Secondaries Investor as one of the industry’s “Young Guns” of 2019.
James was noted as the only partner-level professional to appear in this year’s list and as one of very few lawyers in the market who has worked in a commercial role at a secondaries advisory firm. He was commended for his blend of placement agent experience along with technical legal skills which has led him to work on a series of impressive deals totalling over $4 billion in transaction value in recent years.
In its fourth year, the Young Guns of Secondaries list ranks the top 20 industry professionals globally under the age of 36.
In the last 18 months alone, Weil’s market-leading Private Funds Group has advised on secondaries-related mandates representing in excess of $8 billion in transaction value. In addition, Weil’s Private Funds Group has had a string of successful fund launches and closings, with the practice advising on funds raising over $100+ billion in the same period for some of the private funds industry’s largest marquee brands across private equity, infrastructure, real estate and credit.
